 Marketing is much more than just create a profile on Facebook. Keeping your fans engaged is key. Do not sign, but are they want to be part of the community. In this article I will tell you about how to use Facebook means to increase their customer base, as well as keep the ones you have!

Enhancing the effectiveness of email Marketing

With the advancement of new CRM packages and mass mailing software's now one is able to ascertain the reliability of their email campaigns, the replies sent to email address actually go to an inbox somewhere... they just aren't acted upon, most of the time.

while we can come to know How many of them actually opened it but Readers acting on it is still a Challenge in itself. Be it sending regular Newsletter or PR Notes or Event, anything else.
First and foremost we all miss out on to find 

1. whether the email ids of subscribers that we have are from our Target market?
2. Do they need our Info/Product/ Service at that time?
3. Is the email subject and content good enough coupled with call-to-Action for the reader?

It stands to reason that if you are emailing subscribers, your subscribers should be able to do the same in return. If someone replies to your email shouldn't you have the ability to act on their: request for more information, sales inquiry or customer service issue? It's entirely possible that a reply email contains your next sales or client retention opportunity  The fix for this email marketing mistake? After each send, wade through the replies to find the hidden treasure.  

Digital marketing – Pull versus Push

Two different forms of digital marketing exist.

Pull digital marketing in which the consumer must actively seek the marketing content often via web searches via Social-media or a search engine or the recipient has given permission to received content that is sends to the consumer by emailtext message and web feed

Websites, blogs and streaming media (audio and video) are also examples of pull digital marketing. In each of these users have to link to the website to view the content.  internet marketing technologies (search engine optimization) has been proved as the most effective tool to attract the Target consumer from a specific demographic.

secondly paid versions of SEM i.e Search engine marketing Techniques too have proved to be useful albeit a costly affair yet its still PULL Strategy.

Push digital marketing technologies involve both the marketer that send a message without consent of recipients. Such as display advertising on websites and news blogs. Emailtext messaging and web feeds can also be classed as push digital marketing when the recipient has not given permission to received the marketing message. (popularly know as spamming). 

Push technologies can deliver content immediately as it becomes available and is better targeted to its consumer demographic, although audiences are often smaller, and the cost for creation and distribution is higher.
Push Strategies are Volume based and the Hit ratio is poor however most people adopt it owing to its ease.
