2. Keywords should be present in meta description
A meta description is used to add a brief summary of the page. It describes what the webpage contains. The meta description can have 160 snippets in size. According to moz, Google announced in September of 2009 that neither meta descriptions nor meta keywords factor into Google's ranking algorithms for web search. Meta descriptions can however impact a page's CTR (click-through-rate) on Google which can positively impact a page's ability to rank.

It is also considered that the ranking of your webpage is also dependent on the number of keywords that the user has input in the query box. So it is preferred to include maximum keywords that the user might use in the article. The article can also contain synonyms of the keyword by which the search engine may reduce the rank of your webpage.
